Animal farm revolution • Was suppose to make life better for all, but... • Life was worse at he end • The leaders became the same as, or worse than the other farmers (humans) • Was supposed to fix the problems by the zar, but... • Life was even worse after the revolution • Stalin made the Czar look like a nice guy Russian revolution Significance today • Soviet Communism has fallen and the ColdWar is long over • Allegorical flabes require us to make comparisons and connections, making them meaningful to any reader in any historical period • This story will teach us about the ways that people abuse power and manipulate others
