The speaker, who wants her to belong him, strangled her with her own hair, but he is sure she did not feel pain, and they passed the night together. at this point the eroticism is explicated and it is presented as a bond between love and death. clearly love is presented as a firm of submission and violence as a means of control, because wanted to explore the psychology of a mad man. in the last line it is remarked that God has not yet moved to punish him, so he thinks get approved his decision.  in this poem there is not an analysis of the emotions, Browning is known for his objective poetry.
