Geordie is accused of stealing cows and deer (but he actually stole 16 deer to sell to the bohemians) and he will be executed. Her love goes to the judge saying that she has 2 children and 1 is going to born and she also says that she would leave them to save Geordie. The judge says it's too late and Geordie will be executed. STROFE: 1° narration, 6° narration/dialogue, 2°,3°,4°,5°,7° dialogue NARRATORE: 1° person PERSONAGGI: Geordie, the narrator, the lady, the judge REFRAIN: First part in lines 5-6; second part in lines 15-16, complete refrain in last stanza Lord Randal TIPO DI COMPONIMENTO: Medieval Ballad TIPO DI BALLATA: Love and domestic tragedy SCHEMA RIMICO: ABAC DI COSA PARLA: This ballad is a dialogue between Lord Randal and his mother.
