Regarding people's eating habits, it appears that it might be be really important to let everyone know how much it costs to produce certain foods in terms of drinking water and energy. For example, 28 times more surface area is needed to produce a cow for beef than for a chicken. In addition 11 times more water is used than for the irrigation of arable land Furthermore to produce 250g of beef we emit 3.4 kg of CO2, the equivalent of a car that travels 16 km. Finally, if governments had to choose one of these two fields to spend money on it, it is evident they should choose green energy. people can get informed by themselves about dietary matters and therefore it is not necessary to invest money on this type of information. Instead, as previously stated, because of their really high cost few private agencies can invest in renewable energies to reduce the environmental impact of humanity and prevent climate changes that will affect the entire world in the future. This is why research in the field of green energy is a way for our government to help people all over the world.
