I have just graduated with a Merit in MSc Strategic Marketing at Imperial College, a year-long innovative program deeply focused on digital marketing and new technologies. I have always been passionate about marketing, and I am particularly fascinated by the consumer and strategic processes that lie behind the development of marketing campaigns. I believe that the unique combination of analytical and creative aspects of this field suits my way of thinking and personality perfectly. In addition, I consider myself a people person which I believe is an essential quality in a Marketing environment where cooperation, teamwork and cohesion are key elements. Moreover, the advent of digital platforms has revolutionised the whole concept of Marketing, making it even more interesting and wide-ranging. My Masters Degree at Imperial College has honed my skills and knowledge of marketing, teaching me the importance of digital media as the future of Marketing through numerous assignments and group projects. The major focus on social media and technology has not only offered me a comprehensive understanding of the digital landscape, but also piqued my interest in this sector. Digital Marketing is the inevitable step forward for every business which is why I would love to convert my passion for marketing into a career in this sector. I have worked for 3 different companies during my career, where I experienced a variety of challenges and gained a lot of practical marketing experience. During my first internship at CBS Group (world leader company in the production of ceramic tiles), I was involved in the development of a new product line in order to target the emerging segment of ‘families with children’. This was actually launched the following season and achieved noticeable results within the first three months (over 5% increase in sales). For my second experience at the Marketing & PR Agency ‘Click Utility On Earth’ I was involved in the planning of ‘AIRET’, a trade fair attracting visitors from all over the world. I was also responsible for the promotion of the event through digital channels, managing the contacts of both visitors and exhibitors. As a consequence, my organisational, communication and problem-solving skills were strengthened, due to the high amount of contacts I had to deal with. Finally, my recent Marketing Consulting module at Imperial allowed me the opportunity to work for two months as a Consultant for the German subsidiary of Dana Holding Corporation. This involved extensive primary and secondary research for the launch of a new brand extension. This training further reinforced my customer orientation, analytical and marketing skills. I believe that the skills I have developed over the years coupled with my work experience have made Atom42 the perfect online marketing agency for me to boost my career.
