However, | want to share my thoughts on someone who holds a special place in my heart. It may seem obvious and common to many people, but for me it is not. She is my mother, a person to whom | will always be grateful for everything she has done and that she continues to do for me. She is the pillar of my life, at least until now. | know that at any time and for any problem | can always turn to her who will listen to me and will not judge me because she is the only one who knows me in the deepest way and loves me in all my strengths, qualities and faults. There are many reasons why | consider her so special but, in particular, | appreciate three characteristics that distinguish her and give her a positive energy that she also transmits to others and in particular to me and my sisters: her being smart, enterprising and caring. She is smart and enterprising because she has always shown me that you should never give up when there are difficulties and less positive moments in life but you have to roll up your sleeves and find new solutions to problems without waiting for others to think about it. And she really proved it because at the age of 53 she decided to change her family's life by going to work abroad to financially help her children and give them more chance to be successful in life. | went to live with her and at first it was not easy, | did not want to go there because | was 15 and had to leave my friends. With her patience, her care and her love she made me understand the situation and over time | learned to appreciate the many opportunities that life abroad offers and now that I'm back in Italy | miss here very much and | want to come back as soon as possible. | learned that | can trust my mom, even when it seems to me that she wants different things from me. It is true that, in general, all mothers love their children, but it is not so obvious that all mothers are really able to prove it to their children with concrete facts. My mother has shown me in a thousand ways that she really cares about my well-being and that | come first in her life. So I know I can always count on her and for that reason she deserves a very special place in my heart.
