𝑅𝒜𝒟𝐼𝒪𝒜𝒞𝒯𝐼𝒱𝐸 & E 𝐿𝐸𝒞𝒯𝑅𝒪𝑀𝒜𝒢𝒩𝐸𝒯𝐼𝒞 𝒫𝒪𝐿𝐿𝒰𝒯𝐼𝒪𝒩Radioactive pollution can be defined as the release of radioactive substances or high- energy particles into air, water or soil as a result of human activity, either by accident or express will. The term electromagnetic pollution refers to pollution generally arising from non- ionizing electromagnetic radiation. We then talk about the frequency range ranging from 0 Hz (static fields) to the frequencies of visible radiation (laser and incoherent light). 𝒜𝑅𝐸 𝒯𝐻𝐸𝑅𝐸 𝒜𝒩𝒴 𝒮𝒪𝐿𝒰𝒯𝐼𝒪𝒩𝒮 𝒯𝒪 𝒯𝐻𝐸𝒮𝐸 𝒫𝑅𝒪𝐵𝐿𝐸𝑀𝒮? -To reduce marine pollution, I would run large barges around the sea surface to clean the sea and put a marine purifier under water. -To reduce noise pollution I would not allow to party with powerful amplifiers in the city but are in large places and under the standards as dance halls. -To reduce air pollution I would put stricter rules in industries and factories. -To reduce soil pollution I would limit the use of pesticides and fertilizers in agriculture and I would do differentiated waste disposal. 𝒜𝑅𝐸 𝒯𝐻𝐸𝑅𝐸 𝒜𝒩𝒴 𝒮𝒪𝐿𝒰𝒯𝐼𝒪𝒩𝒮 𝒯𝒪 𝒯𝐻𝐸𝒮𝐸 𝒫𝑅𝒪𝐵𝐿𝐸𝑀𝒮? 𝟤 𝒫𝒜𝑅𝒯 -One way of preventing or reducing thermal pollution would be to use the hot water used for cooling machinery to heat homes or to farm tropical fish. -Four ways to reduce light pollution and save are: 1- Turn off unnecessary lights; 2- Use motion-activated lights; 3- Put covers on the lights to shield the bulbs and direct the light where it is needed; 4- Use lights of different colors. -Wi-Fi networks are a source of electromagnetic pollution. Turning off the modem when not in use, and always at night, reduces exposure to radiation that emits. -To reduce radioactive pollution, I would recommend to machinery companies that do not produce radioactive pollution.
