Artificial intelligence is reported to be one of the most innovative discoveries in the last century, due to its unbelievable ability in simplifying humans’ lives. In the last few years several studies have highlighted the dangers and social issues that this device could bring us by raising up a huge doubt on whether artificial intelligence should be used or not. One one hand, we can’t help but say thata anyone of us nowadays would be able to imagine their life without technology. It’s nothing but understandable, though, the point of people who are willing to use AI. They don’t claim to reach perfection through the use of it but at the same time they are aware of the progress that this device could introduce to our society such as the worldwide communication, or the quick problem solving ability. On the other hand, the harsh reality is different from that. The damages linked to technology are drastically increasing. It’s undeniable that the more we use technology the more we isolate ourselves from the world around us, that’s why the overuse of AI is likely to be another step forward leading to our self-destruction since all we would have to do would be nothing but consulting a computer to solve any challenge of our lives. On the whole, I must admit that I'm actually not that much into technology but I’m still in two minds between allowing people to use AI or not. However, I’ve always thought that moderation is key to living a peaceful life so that the best decision for anyone of us to make is to enjoy this amazing innovation without allowing it to prevent us from thinking with our own mind.
