If you want to teach a child what scissors are what would you do read them a definition from the dictionary. no?you give them a pair of scissors and have them use them -Jean Piaget helped us understand that children are active learners and thinkers. children learn by interacting with their environment. -Children also learn through social interaction(Vigotsky). Vigotsky helpes us understand that we learni through interaction with others for example children learn to walk and talk from their parents. -Children learn through scaffolding by adults.-Bruner What does it mean? Scaffolding is the frame that costruction workers stand on to repair or build something in. The term scaffolding is used in psychology to indicate the help given by one person to another to perform a task. In italy it means ‘’impalcatura’’.We are scaffolding for our students.  Create interest in the task. The teacher can use games, story tellingto get student’s attention or song.così(cerco) you will have your students attention break.  Model your ecpections.you give students a model and show them what to say, they will be more successful. Remember don’t just tell your learners what to do show them how to do.  Remind students of the purpose of the activity. It remind strudents of the purpose of the activity make sure they konow what they’re doing and why of course this menas your activities actually have a purpose or goal for communication. Maybe it’s a short (dialogo?) .Control your frustation durinh the task.sometime children become frustrated or stop to working on the task.  Children are active learners and thinkers.children through social blank.  Children learn effectively through by adults. Children learn through scaffolding by adults. How to teach kids- an example lesson. Children learn English through physical action. they jump, walk behind the teacher. The teacher always speaks in English but uses simple phrases. the children are always paying attention and nobody gets bored it is very important to use repetition, the teacher always uses the same phrases and words. it is a fun lesson where all the children are involved. L’insegnante usa delle frasi molto semplici ma incisive come comandi. il linguaggio verbale è accompagnato da un linguaggio motorio. Per esempio introduce il termine nuotare e poi mostra ai bambini il movimento. Fa la stessa cosa con altre azioni come volare. How children learn a foreign language? How can your young students learn English if iti son used int thei lives? How important is teaching grammar to young learners of english is it very important, somewhat important not very important or not important at all. Of course grammar is important, grammatical structures are the building blocks of language but the approach to teaching grammar should match the way students learn your approach to teaching grammar should be learning center which lynne cameron describes as meaningful and interesting require active participation from learners and will work with how children learn and what they are capable of learning children do not learn language aas effectively through grammatical explanations young learners gain an understanding of the grammar through repetition and recycling language in different contexts you need to provide a meaningful context to teach language children will be able to see how grammar works within a story song or cartoon in short your approach to teaching grammar should be learning centered and meaning focuesed and . for exampke children won’t learn language when you explain what the imperative mode is they learn what it is when you give commands you say sit down and students sit down. You can help in creating an english speaking environment in your classrom you have ro present english in autenthic and meaningful real communication puts language in action and promots interaction if you present language through communication and a meaningful context your students will need some scaffolding yu should use different techniques to make the language comprehensible children nees concrete to understand language ypu can use visuals like picture to help    make new words comprhenssible gestures an body movement. Can help teach language to young learners. You can organize ideas by using table or grapich organizers.
