By contrast, others believe that there is another type of progress equally important for a country. Economic progress means development, advancement as technology improvement, also produc4on improvement and social welfare. This meaning is connected to the Industrial Revolu4on, and all these (progresses get) forms of progress lead to more food, new products, and more (riches) richness/wealth/money. But all that doesn’t involve happiness. Many countries nowadays have a high level of development, and all people have the highest lifestyle level. It seems that everything is possible to do and the opportuni4es during the en4re life are various. As a result, many people always want more, and they don’t recognize what might be possible for humans and consequently there is a higher dissa4sfac4on level. It is a permanent compe44on to get the top level of value. There are some people that judge other types of progress as important as economic progress. One of the most important progresses is about mental health. One society can have the greatest development in all material areas, but if people feel bad no wealth can be enough. During the last years this topic has had more aJen4ons, but many countries don’t do anything to resolve it, because what you don’t’ see (despite material riches) isn’t important! Moreover, another one important progress is about eco-friendly development, because more industrializa4on and more riches mean more pollu4on, waste, and climate change. It is important because if humans exploit all the environment resources, they will finish, and economic progress will be impossible. I think that all types of progress are important for countries, but all must be on the same level, because (all is) everything is connected to networking.
