Write an essay: Nowadays, globalization is a fact no more ignorable, modern people have almost the obligation to make themselves understood. In this way, as I see it, learning a foreign language is fundamental to interact with people. According to contemporary standards request for many jobs, speaking fluently at least two languages can open a lot of doors; especially for what concern international jobs: in this case known more than a language is not just helpful, rather is essential, otherwise it is impossible relate with anyone else who does not speak the same language. Being a polyglot is not only important for work, but also for leisure. For example, if you want to travel and going abroad you must know the country’s main language or at least a common language. Besides, knowing languages lets you learn more from cultures you visit. Last but not least, internet. In Internet, the common language is mainly English; without that, it may be very difficult to get access to all the information contained in it. On Internet, English is the key that allows giving advices, news and explanations form all over the world. It is true that there are many translated pages, but it is a part of the internet infinitely smaller than anything else available only in English and in a few other languages. In conclusion, for my part, people who know how to speak fluently many languages have benefits, and consequently those who speak just one of them have much less work, personal and social opportunities.
