Food is part of everyone's life: we eat every day different dishes and with different people. Everybody loves enjoying a dinner with the family or with some friends, and in those occasions we create memories, even if at the moment we don’t realize it. However, when we think about food we immediately imagine lot and lot of different plates we would like to eat. Every dish is special, it has a story and it is based on a culture of a typical place: Italy, for example, is known for its variety of food and the goodness of it. When people come to visit the country, they are fascinated by our way of cooking and our fresh ingredients: they can easily discover new recipes and remake them at home with their families. Every place has its special food, and discover and taste it makes us aware of the extraordinary way other people in the world live. We can sit at a table with strangers and start talking with them about a recipe and we will go home with a suitcase full of new advices. Secondly, we have a great example of how food has brought people together with the quarantine: everybody was forced to stay at home with their families and with a lot of free time, during which we had the occasion to discover and try new actives. One of the most popular was making sweets, such as cakes, but also pizza and focaccia. Families started to cook together the dinner, giving each other advices and establishing an ever stronger bond. In conclusion, food is a common language even if we are on the other side of the world; when we sit down at the table we just want to have a great meal like all other people.
