One approach might involve the investment of money, made by scholastic institutes, in order to offer a huge range of courses and qualifications of languages or computer technology to youngsters, letting them improve their skills. It is widely believed that knowing languages and technologies is increasing our chances to be selected for a working place, in every sector. An alternative approach would be concerned with the organization of work experience programmes. Learning from a book is different from practicing something. Someone might find out to be a dark horse in using a foreign language instead of practising engineering although he has been studying it for several years. To make a conscious decision is important to experience the practical aspect of a subject in order to clarify ideas and attend the right university. In conclusion, courses and qualification must be taken into account, but the job that is going to suit everyone the best is surely coming from the experience, therefore the organisation of work experience programmes is the approach I personally would recommend to all schools and universities.
