Juliet - The character of Shakespeare's tragedy "Romeo and Juliet" Who is Juliet? Juliet is the only daughter of Lord and Lady Capulet. She is a beautiful thirteen-year-old girl. At first she is a naïve girl who is quiet and obedient and doesn’t really think about love and marriage, but she grows up quickly as soon as she meets and falls in love with Romeo. This happens at a masked ball in the Capulet mansion where Romeo is in disguise. Unfortunately Romeo is the son of her family’s great enemy and her family would be completely against any contact between the two young people. Nevertheless, she shows amazing courage in trusting her entire life and future to Romeo, even refusing to believe the worst reports about him after he gets involved in a fight with her cousin. Juliet’s closest friend and confidant is her Nurse, though she’s willing to shut the Nurse out of her life the moment the Nurse turns against Romeo. Chi è Giulietta? Giulietta è l’unica figlia del Signor e della Signora Capuleti. Ella è una bellissima ragazza di tredici anni. All’inizio è una ragazza ingenua che è quieta e obbediente e non pensa veramente all’amore e al matrimonio, ma diventa grande in fretta appena incontra e si innamora di Romeo.
