Obama takes the lead on climate change but needs the world to follow 1-Explain in your own words what a “superwicked” problem is. A “superwicked” problem is a serious one, it is complex, it has different causes and it is impossible to solve completely. 2-What can the EPA do to put Obama’s plan into action? EPA can give each state a goal for cutting greenhouse-gas emissions from power plants, morover it can impose Carbon cutting plans. 3-Why is it unlikely that new coal plants will be established? It is unlikely that new coal plants will be established new coal plants because future plants will have to produce half the rate of pollution that current plants do. 4-Which groups are against Obama’s plan and why? The groups that are against Obama’s plan are people and companies in Kentucky and West Virginia because these are States with (have) coal dependent economies. 5-How do big countries like India regard reducing pollution and why? India and other Big country like china are not kinee on reducing pollution because they need to keep their economies growing, What do you think are the most important steps which Italy, as a nation, should take to combat climate change? Climate change is a big issue in our planet because it is causing terrible effects in the environment and in the atmosphere. Therefore, every single act of our is important to change this situation. There are several negative effects which make it worst. First of all, the rise of temperature is causing extreme climatic conditions such as glaciation and the rise of dangerous atmospheric events such as drought and tsunami. I think that every country should take steps to improve this situation. The Italian government, for example, could distribute solar panels at a lower cost so as to increase their use in houses. In addition using insulating glass can help our planet to reduce climate change. We can also pay attention to (take care) appliances that we have at home: for instance, to our fridge. If it is too old, we have to defrost it regularly. In conclusion, if we all engaged in small efforts to improve the climate, we would contrast climate change.
