SELF -INTRODUCTION  My name is Gaia, I’m nineteen years old , I’m not a only child , I have a little brother . I live with my family , my mum, my dad and my little brother  I’m in my first year of university , I’m studying political science , I chose this subject because there are different job opportunities, I’ve always been passionate about law and for the opportunity to work abroad  I’m satisfied with my choice because I found no particular difficulty in the subjects of study and I feel good with my classmates  I dislike distance learning because in university I can concentrate better , during the breaks I can talk with my classmates and I don’t have connection problems ,I’d like to attend classes in person.  I live in a small town called Provaglio, in the province of Brescia  I live with my family and I don’t share my apartment with my friends or other students, I’m a commuter PLANS FOR THE FUTURE  WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO DO WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED WITH YOUR STUDIES? When I finish my studies I’d like to go to work  WHAT KIND OF JOB WOULD YOU LIKE TO HAVE? I would like to work as ambassador ( In such a way that children and also human beings can have greater opportunities , and live better )  WOULD YOU LIKE TO WORK ABROAD? WHY? WHERE? Yes , i would like to work abroad because I met new people and I would enrich myself from the human and cultural point of view, i would learn the language better and I’d be more independent . In my free time I go out with my friends , I watch movies , I go for a walks and I like listening to music , relaxing , cooking ( cakes ) playing cards , I like singing and dancing and playing flute FUTURE QUESTIONS - TRAVEL & HOLIDAYS • What are your favorite destinations abroad? My favorite destinations abroad is France the sea is spotless, I like to speak French , I love French cake and is a state rich in monuments and museums • What are your favorite destinations in Italy ? My favorite destinations in Italy is Trentino because it is a mountainous area , I can take long walks, I can immerse myself in nature and I can breathe clean air • What are your favorite ways of travelling? My favorite ways of travelling is by train and I like travelling with my friends and my family •What countries would you like to visit in the future? I would like to visit Switzerland because I want to visit the Zurich Zoo, Lake Geneva ( Ginevra and Lake Lugano) and take the glacier express and admire the panorama FOOD & RESTAURANTS My favorite food is Lasagna , I can cook and I like cooking, I prepare pancakes , hamburghers , meat , fish , pasta and gnocchi . I like eating out, I like go to the restaurant and fast food. I go to the restaurant once a week ,during the weekend . Yes I like etnic food especially Chinese and Japanese , I like eat as Sushi , spring roll and I usually eat Cous cous , kebab, Paella . All the day I have breakfast with eggs, fruits and the or milk , all the day I eat fruit , legumes or vegetables , at lunch I eat pasta , meat, rice, bread , for snack I eat the and fruits and for the dinner I eat salad , omelette ,chicken , fish SHOPPING What are your favorite shops or shopping malls? My favorite shop is Braccialini because I like buying bags, I like going shopping with my friends and with my mum and I dislike going shopping with my dad. I go shopping twice a week and I don’t follow fashion trends . I always buy what I like . I often buy objects that aren’t fashion and are also extravagant. YOUR HOMETOWN I live in a small town in a three-room apartment . In my town there are two primary school , near these structure there are two bars , chemist and in front of these there are church and the oratory . In my town there is a bakery and near the bakery there is a pizzeria . Opposite there is a kindergarten and pre-school education . In the town there are some parks , a football field and a basketball court. In my town there aren’t monuments and sights , With my friend I go for a walk , I go to the bar and pizzeria , I ride a bike and I go to the park , there aren’t museums , theaters, cinema , there are two bars and one restaurants , who has business lunches . Yes , I usually get along with it , when there is a problem you talk and try to solve Why do you like them? I like them because when I need them, they’re always there, they’re people I can joke with, Because they are always kind and helpful  Can you describe a typical weekday? During a typical weekday I wake up early and I have breakfast , I get dressed and brush my face and teeth . I brush my hair. During the morning I’ll get the bread and firewood, clean my room , make the bed and study . During the afternoon I have lunch , I go for a walks , I help my brother to his homework , I call my friends . During the evening I have dinner , I put the rubbish out , I play flute , I close doors and then I go to bed .  What is your routine like on the weekend? During the weekend I wake up late, I have breakfast , I go for a walk , I meet my parents , I watch tv series on Netflix and I prepare the pancakes  How do you organize your day when studying for exams? I plan the time based on how many exams I have to take and how many pages I have to study. I study about five hours a day, two hours in the morning, two hours in afternoon and one hours in evening .  During the day I go for a walk because I need to clear my mind , I have breakfast , lunch and dinner , watch series tv or programme tv , I shower for thirty minutes , I brush my hair , I put the rubbish out , I listening to music and play flute  What is a typical day like when you are on holiday? I wake up late , I have breakfast , I pack my bag to go to the beach, I put on sunscreen, I bathe in the sea ,I shower , collect the shells, I lie down on the couch, I play volleyball, I follow the recreational activities, I have snack and then during the evening I take long walks by the beach, i’ m going to the bar for a drink and I go to bed late IMPACT OF TECHNOLOGY ON MODERN LIFE QUESTIONS – IMPACT OF TECHNOLOGY ON MODERN LIFE  How many electronic devices do you use every day? Every day I three electronic device , computer , telephone and tv  How long do you spend on the Internet? I use internet for some hours a day because I I look at instagram and whatsapp, I look for information and I read the online newspaper.  Do you use your computer for study and research? I use the computer to follow the lessons , make diagrams or summaries, and if it is also necessary to make research.  What is the importance of technology for science and medicine? New technologies that could change the cure of certain diseases forever. Will allow doctors to facilitate diagnosis and treatment, be a great saving for the national health system, it will also be easier and faster to diagnose the disease  The problem of cyber-bullying : Children and adults from all over the world are involved; anyone, even the victim, can become cyberbully , cyberbullies can be anonymous and solicit the participation of other people.
