Mr. Nobody (2009) Mr. Nobody is a science fiction drama film written and directed by Jacon Van Dormael, a Belgian film director. It stars Jared Leto as Nemo Nobody, Diane Kruger as Anne, and Natasha Little as Nemo’s mother. It was nominated for seven Magritte Awards, winning six, including Best Film and Best Director for Van Dormael. Also, it received the Biografilm Lancia Award and the Golden Osella. The film is set in different locations of the 20th and 21st century, alternating some past events with the present. It was filmed in Belgium, Germany and Canada in 2007. The story begins with the image of Mr. Nemo. He is a centenarian man, and he is the star of a live reality show that follows the last days of his life. In fact Nemo is the last mortal being left alive on our planet since scientific discoveries allowed to reach immortality. He remembers very little of his past life. Starting from his birth, in which he must choose the most pleasant parent, everything is linked to choices and subsequent randomness. So we are witnessing the moment the parents divorce. Nemo child can run after the train on which his mother is leaving, or stay with his father. Depending on what happens, two different lives open up in front of him. Possibilities will continue to increase in numbers and the life partners too… you don’t expect a real final! I really recommend Mr. Nobody. It has an insane plot and extraordinary special effects.The drama of possibilities becomes a source of anxiety, but everything reveals that there is a base line: FATE. Whatever we choose avoids from something superior. It’s not sensible to rack your brains for your own best path,you can listen to your heart and follow it…don't forget the butterfly effect.
