But are they really essential for modern life? I think there are both advantages and disadvantages. The first advantage of Smartphones is the connexion you have with your family and your friends. You can keep in touch with them since your “WhatsApp” when they are far away from you or when you have small children it is essential for nursery school. Secondly, the best advantage for me, is the amount of information you can have when connecting to the internet. You can find a place with the GPS, or you can buy things you need, and you can search how daily problems are solved, even study English. But on the other hand, there are also some disadvantages. One of them is the time we spend on our smartphones. We received too much non-important information from social media. Other disadvantage I find very important too, is in the case of the job. We are always available for work when we receive emails at any time, or our boss send us a WhatsApp of things to do. In conclusion I think the smartphones are essential for modern life. They make our life easier. Today I can´t imagine my life without them. When I have to buy some things, when I have to travel to another country, when I have to work and when I have to be in contact with my family. And for all that, I think we are dependent on our smatphone.
