REVIEW The Italian Gemstone Restaurant Not many restaurants are in the nearby streets of my house as the area is situated within a trunk road which doesn’t have a nice atmosphere. In my zone most of the locales are fast foods or take away shops, so there’s no a wide choice. For this reason, when the new of a novel restaurant’s opening come to the attention of my family and mine, we were really excited and eager to try it. The Italian Gemstone is an incredibly charming and sophisticated place. The outside doesn’t let you realise that the restaurant is surrounded by nature. Indeed, not only it is provided with an indoor hall with huge windows which have a stunning sea view, but also with a lush garden with oaken tables subtlety setting. The location contributes to create a welcoming, relaxing and peaceful atmosphere that gives the feeling to be at home. The service is efficient. All the staff are properly dressed with a black suit and a white shirt and they seem to be very professional. Orders are taken by means of an electronic device and are brought to your table rapidly. It’s the perfect place if you don’t want to wait a long while for having a meal. Moreover, at your arrival an attentive waiter asks you whether you prefer being placed in a soft music corner in order to enjoy a more intimate ambiance. So, the restaurant is also appropriate for a romantic date. My family and I were surprised about the high purity of zero kilometers food. In particular, we tasted as starter the buffalo mozzarella with a side dish of mint and zucchini locally grown. Furthermore, as second course we ate an almond-crusted tuna steak with baked potatoes. The fish was fresh and had a delicious crunchy crust with a slightly spicy taste. But, their specialty is the bread made of a multigrain flour which is cooked in a wood oven and hot served. The Italian Gemstone restaurant offers unmemorable meals at a reasonable price and this is a crucial point since it’s the only in that zone. Thus, I can recommend it because of the food quality, the cost, the comfortable atmosphere, the staff expertise and attractive location. I give it the top score to each single aspect!
