Time games This book is about the adventure of a boy called Adam who enters in his prefer computer game. Adam is a boy, he is 15 years old, and lives in a small town called Castleton where there are ruins of a castle. He has two sisters, the first is 18 and the secondo is 16. He doesn’t have a good feeling with his sisters and also with his father, in fact his father comes back home very late the evening then he doesn’t speak very much with him. Adam doesn’t like the school and every day says his teacher that he left the homework at home but he has never done the homework because he prefers playing computer games. His favourite computer games Is set in the Middle Age, and he created a character called Jack Greenstone. One day after dinner he switch on his computer. When he started to play in it he saw another character called lord Greenstone. But this character didn’t do what Adam wanted, and he saw Jack fall out with this strange man. Later he heard also the voice of Jack. The next day he went to school and he saw a strange boy. All people in Adam’s school was dressed with the school uniform, but that strange boy was dressed with ancient clothes. That night he made a dream where he was running in a forest wearing old clothes, and he met jack that call him master, and tell hime to find a key. Then Adam woke up. The day later he saw all things in his village in a different way, for example he understood that the oak tree in the village, called The tree, it was the same tree In his game. Then he thought that the castle of his village is the same castle of the game. Than he entered in the ruins of the castle, and he look for the key, and he found it under some stones. After he went to school but he left his rucksack with his history homework in the castle. Then he went to school library to do a research to the past of his town. He discovered that Lord Greenstone was the uncle of Jack, and he imprisoned Jack’s father. Than Jack needed the key to help his father. At the end of the school he wen to the school gate and there he met Jack who explained the story to him: Lord Greenstone wanted to kill his father and Jack to became the king of the town. While they wear talking a school mates of Adam came to him. Suddenly a rush of wind pulled an they arrived in another world. There Adam and Chloe are invisible, and Jack became visible. Then only chloe and Adam could save the father of jack who was imprisoned in the castle dungeon. They follow a guard , and they arrived to the father, and they open to the key his chains. Then they took the father and through a secret tunnel they escape to the dungeon. Finaly Jack met his fater. And Chloe and Adam retuned to their world. Commento : I don’t like very much this book because I think that the true story of adventure is concentrated in few ages of this book, while the rest of the pages are only description of the life of Adam. And I prefer famous book like Around the World in 80 days, that I rend for the Christmas holidays. There isn’t a true reason why I chose the book, because I had a flu and I couldn’t swap the book with the friend of mine, I a take this book in library because reading the headline I thought that it was more interesting that it is.
