Romeo and Juliet takes place in Verona, a conflict broke out for two of the most important families in the city: the Montagues and Capulets. Two unlucky children become lovers and commit suicide, so they put the end to their parents’feud. Paris, a kinsman of the Prince want to marry Juliet. Her father Capulet asks to wait two years, since Juliet is not fourteen. Capulet organizes a masquerade party and gives his servants the task of making the list with the guests. He invites Paris, hoping that Juliet could fall in love with him. Romeo agrees to go with Benvolio, but only because Rosaline will be there. Juliet talks with her mother, and her nuerse about the possibility of marriage Paris. At the party, Romeo meet Juliet and falls in love with her, so he forgets about Rosaline completely. Soon, Romeo speaks to Juliet and there was a profound attraction. They kiss, they didn’t know each other’s names. Romeo knows her name when he calls out to her, he wants to marry secretly Juliet, infact the following day, Romeo and Juliet meet at Fria Lawrence’s cell and are married. Romeo goes to celebrate his marriage with his friends, Mercutio and Benvolio, but gets into a fight with Juliet's cousin. Tybalt kills Mercutio and Romeo avenges his death by killing Tybalt. Capulet decides Juliet should marry Paris, as this will make her feel better following her cousin's death. Juliet defies her father and tells him she won't marry Paris; he is horrified with her response and tells her she must be married to Paris or else he will disown her forever. Juliet flees to Friar Laurence where she tells him this news. Friar Laurence and Juliet come up with a plan where she will fake her own death. Infact, Juliet drinks a sleeping potion the night before her marriage to Paris. In the morning, she does not wake and she is pronounced dead. They take her to the Capulet tomb where she will wait for Romeo. Friar Laurence writes a letter to Romeo informing him of their plan, however, the letter doesn't get delivered to Romeo and he is told that Juliet is dead. For that Romeo buys some deadly poison, he drinks the poison so he can be with her in heaven. Juliet finally awakens to see Romeo there with her; she kisses his lips to try and taste the poison herself, but it doesn't work.
