The programme has been specifically developed for students aged 15-17 and combines a comprehensive academic curriculum with an engaging social programme, all within the inspiring setting of prestigious Oxford University colleges. There are a variety of academic courses available that cater for a wide range of interests. Along with their core elective study subject, students at Oxford College will benefit from: • University Preparation tuition • Self-presentation and research projects • Academic Excursions Students wanting to study two or more elective courses for one week only, can choose Academic Discovery. Please note to ensure placement at an appropriate level, there will be a short online English language test that students must complete before arriving at the college. Available Courses Oxford College also offers a fantastic range of social and wellbeing events in the afternoon and evenings, ensuring that students develop socially as well as academically. Oxford College students will go on 2 full day excursions per week, to visit some of the UK’s greatest cultural sites and famous cities. To conclude a memorable stay, each course culminates with our graduation evening, which provides students with a wonderful formal dining experience, certificate presentation and graduation celebration. From the moment of your first enquiry, our staff will be on hand throughout the process to support you until the end of your stay. Our expert Admissions Managers can help and advise on every aspect from travel arrangements to academic consultancy. Oxford College Summer School is operated by Summer Boarding Courses Ltd who will handle all payments and enquiries. Summer Boarding Courses is an organisation that contracts with University College and Wycliffe Hall for the use of facilities, but has no formal connection with the University of Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity to look back on the successes of the course, both academic and social, and the successes that are sure to come in the future. Set in memorable locations and with the whole college looking their best, our graduation evening is a highlight of any stay at Oxford College. Students who are finishing their course will be presented with their Certificate of Achievement and College Report, and awards will also be presented for special achievements. After the awards ceremony, students will be able to dance with their friends at the graduation disco. For those students who are staying for longer, it is a great opportunity to congratulate their friends and celebrate all of the special memories that they have created during their time with us at the college. Formal Graduation Oxford Cultural Afternoon Students will experience an afternoon at one of the city’s most popular attractions including a guided tour of the historic university buildings or visiting one of the many famous museums. Students will have the opportunity to explore the shopping district with the exciting Westgate shopping centre. In addition, students are provided with some structured free time, before dinner. During this time students can relax in the beautiful grounds of Oxford College, explore the university parks or visit the local shops and many nearby cafes with their new friends.
